In this workshop we will explore the technique of drypoint printing. Drypoint is an intaglio printing technique of using a sharp object to scratch into a printing plate, we then use the printing press to create a fine detailed linear print. We will have a go at experimenting with different plates made from different recycled materials. This is a fun workshop especially if you enjoy drawing as you can get some really fine detailed results.
The Cafe at East Quay is available for parents to meet during the session. The session is suitable for all ages but there will be differentiation set within the tasks and activities for the different ages and abilities. The workshop will be a bit messy so please wear old clothes!
This event is for Home Education kids. Please if you book a ticket and are unable to come, let us know so we can realise your ticket for others to book on. These workshops are popular and book up fast.
