In this workshop we will experiment with mark making and surface pattern to create different patterns. From here will make a pattern repeat block that we will then scan into the computer to digitalise and make into an all over pattern that can be used for wrapping paper. This technique is used in the design industry by textile designers when creating fabrics.
The Cafe at East Quay is available for parents to meet during the session. The session is suitable for all ages but there will be differentiation set within the tasks and activities for the different ages and abilities. The workshop will be a bit messy so please wear old clothes!
This event is for Home Education kids. Please if you book a ticket and are unable to come, let us know so we can realise your ticket for others to book on. These workshops are popular and book up fast.
