Join artist Ione Maria Rojas in Studio 10, and learn how to make watercolour paints from clays, minerals and rocks gathered in South West England.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to grind, sieve and mix earth pigments into watercolour paints, using a process that can then be adapted for making oil, acrylic or gouache paints at home.

We'll look at the rich palette of colour that can be found in the Somerset & Devon landscape, and explore ways of working with these pigments in order to dialogue with the land.

You'll go home with: your own mineral-based watercolour paint(s), some pigment to process at home and a collaborative drawing from the landscape.
