East Quay Kitchen, situated on the ground floor, is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon bar snacks and evening meals. We have now moved to our Autumn opening hours, which are 9am-5pm Sunday-Wednesday and 9am-8pm Thursday-Saturday.
East Quay Kitchen serves a delicious menu of Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired dishes including yummy lamb kofte flatbreads, our famous beetroot falafel pittas, and our popular carrot fattoush salad. For breakfast, treat yourself to Turkish eggs or Shakshuka as well as more traditional eggs (fried, poached or scrambled) with sourdough toast and optional extras. A full menu is available for download below.
We also sell delicious cakes and tasty teas, coffees, summer spritzers, and great hot chocolate, and have a fully-licensed bar - so feel free to pop along for drinks as well as food.
Please note, we do not take bookings during the breakfast or lunch service except for special occasions and large groups but there is usually not too long of a wait even in the summer and of course there is lots to keep you occupied at East Quay browsing the galleries and artist studios even if you do have to wait a little. In the evenings, we can take reservations so please do give us a call or drop us an email and we'll book you in. Please also note, we often have events, performances and music of an evening so again do check what else is happening before you visit.
New for Autumn 2023, we are hosting some special food events in the East Quay Kitchen, including a menu of noodles and dumplings, a game, forage and field evening and a Middle Eastern Festive Dinner, see our What's On page for details.
Open Daily 9am-5pm Breakfast: 9-11am Lunch: 12-3pm
Evening meals: 5-8pm (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays only, with some special events on Thursdays so please check).
We are working to make the Kitchen as sustainable as possible. This includes reducing the meat and fish on our menu, increasing the vegetarian and vegan options and choosing our suppliers carefully. We try to consider the whole life cycle of products and seek to have positive benefit wherever possible.
