Home Education Creator Club - Clay Pots

At the start of this workshop, we’ll visit the new exhibition ‘Wild Apples’ by Serena Korda in Gallery 1.  We will focus on looking at the techniques used to make the sculptures and how the artist has been inspired by nature and woodland creatures.

Afterwards, we'll return to the Creator Space to learn about pot making techniques and create some clay pieces with references to the exhibition and mark making techniques linked to nature.

The Cafe at East Quay is available for parents to meet during the session.  The session is suitable for all ages but there will be differentiation set within the tasks and activities for the different ages and abilities.  The workshop will be a bit messy so please wear old clothes!

This event is for Home Education kids.  Please if you book a ticket and are unable to come, let us know so we can realise your ticket for others to book on.  These workshops are popular and book up fast.
