Home Education Creator Club - Drypoint Printing

In this workshop, we’ll explore the drypoint printmaking technique, a form of intaglio where lines are scratched directly into a surface. We'll be using recycled Tetra Pak cartons as printing plates and experimenting with different tools to create a variety of textures and marks. You'll learn how to ink and print your plates by hand, producing a series of unique prints.

The Cafe at East Quay is available for parents to meet during the session. The session is suitable for all ages but there will be differentiation set within the tasks and activities for the different ages and abilities. Please note if your child is under the age of 8 they will need an adult to stay with them for the duration of the session. The workshop will be a bit messy so please wear old clothes!
