‍‍Join printmaker Jeremy Speck in the studio for a one-day lino workshop. We will look at the unique properties of linocut printmaking, taking you through the design stage to exploring multiplate techniques.

We will:

– Learn the essential tools and materials for linocut
– Explore how to develop and translate your image into a linocut block
– Understand how to carve safely and print effectively

About the Tutor

Jeremy has over ten years experience teaching linocutting at Double Elephant Print Workshop where he is the principal relief print tutor (linocut & letterpress) and a Director. He has successfully guided many beginners, as well as advanced linocutters through the process. Jeremy’s own work is mostly abstract, using both linocut & screenprint to explore balance and colour through bold shapes and textures.
