MAY HALF TERM WORKSHOPS
(Sat 24th May to Sun 1st June)
Join us this half term for a maritime-themed week of art. As we get ready for Maritime Mayhem on Saturday 31st May.
All the workshops this week are free and drop-in.
We also have a maritime craft available all week in the foyer, drop-in 10am - 5pm everyday. Kids' activity sheets available for gallery exploration.
TUESDAY 27TH MAY
Under The Sea Wax Resist Workshop
11am-1pm, drop-in family workshop, Free*
Explore wax resist techniques while creating a fun sea creature with oil pastels and inks. This workshop may get a little messy, so be sure to wear old clothes — aprons are provided!
WEDNESDAY 28TH MAY
Paper Sea Creature Plushie Workshop
11am-1pm, drop-in family workshop, Free*
Design a sea creature using various materials, then bring it to life by stuffing it with tissue paper to create a fun 3D effect.
THURSDAY 29TH MAY
Underwater Mini Sculpture Workshop
11am-1pm, drop-in family workshop, Free*
Use your creativity to craft a miniature 3D underwater scene with plastercine, pipe cleaners, and beads, all set on top of a jar lid.
