Join us for a series of free* family workshops exploring art through hands-on activities. Try out different materials, techniques and ideas together. Drop in between 11am–1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
TUESDAY 26TH MAY
FOIL WATER PRINTING
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Explore water-based art inspired by the work in the gallery. Experiment with pens, foil and water to create abstract shapes and colours. This playful workshop encourages exploration of pattern, colour and form.
WEDNESDAY 27TH MAY
YARN DRAWING
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Create your own yarn “pen” to draw onto a sticky surface. Inspired by artist Bec Briar who is based in studio 10 at the moment, this workshop explores the use of yarn and wool to create expressive, textured drawings.
THURSDAY 28TH MAY
CLAY NATURE IMPRINTS
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Using clay and natural materials, create your own textured piece inspired by the outdoors. Press leaves, flowers and found objects into clay to make beautiful imprints and patterns.
Art activity available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm throughout the holidays. Gallery exploration activity sheets are also available for the duration of the exhibition.
