Music Club is back - with a new format!
We’re excited to relaunch East Quay’s Music Club with a refreshed format. Each month will feature one Lab Session and one Open Session — creating space first to explore sound and movement in a relaxed, more intimate setting, followed by an opportunity for free-form music making.
The Lab Sessions are more guided and focus on sound, percussion, voice, and creative techniques, while the Open Sessions are more informal, free-flowing jams where everyone is welcome to play and experiment with sound.
In January, we will be focusing on preparing to play and instrument care, where you can learn how to care for, maintain, and tune your instruments to keep them sounding their best.
Led by multi-instrumentalist and composer Sebastian Tesouro, Music Club is open to anyone with a love of music — no experience required. Come to explore new styles, share ideas, experiment with sound, and enjoy making music together in a welcoming, relaxed environment.
