OCTOBER HALF TERM WORKSHOPS
Join us for free, drop-in family workshops during October half term!
Inspired by Jo Lathwood’s exhibition ‘Down the Hatch’, with a Halloween twist.
Workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11am–1pm, and are suitable for all ages.
Tuesday 28th October – Bubble Painting
11am–1pm | All ages | Free*, drop-in
Inspired by the bubble films in the exhibition, we'll mix paint with washing-up liquid to create bubbly prints! Make your own abstract art full of colour and texture.
Wednesday 29th October – Pinch Pot Cauldrons
11am–1pm | All ages | Free*, drop-in
Inspired by the giant cauldron in Gallery 1, create your own mini clay pinch pot cauldron. Use it as a spooky art piece or to store your magical trinkets.
Thursday 30th October – Witch Cardboard Portraits
11am–1pm | All ages | Free*, drop-in
Taking inspiration from the Alewives and their iconic hats, create a 3D witchy portrait using egg boxes, cardboard, Posca pens, and collage materials.

Spooky Potion Craft – Available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm
Gallery Activity Sheets – Explore the exhibition with themed activity sheets, available throughout the exhibition
