Each week, discover a new material, help build a large group sculpture, and create your own artwork to take home. Free drop-in workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11am–1pm
TUESDAY 29 JULY
EMBOSSING
11-1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Get creative in this hands-on workshop where we’ll turn recycled drink cans into quirky flower pot buddies! Use embossing tools to add fun textures and patterns that make each one unique. We’ll also keep building our giant shiny sculpture by patchworking together everyone’s embossed metal tiles into one dazzling hanging artwork.
WEDNESDAY 30 JULY
TEXTURED FOIL COLLAGE
11-1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Explore a mix of textured papers to create your own unique foil artwork. Play with patterns, layers, and surfaces to make something bold and eye-catching! We’ll also keep building our giant shiny sculpture by patchworking together everyone’s embossed metal tiles into one dazzling hanging artwork.
THURSDAY 31 JULY
FOIL MONOPRINTING
11-1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Try out monoprinting using kitchen foil, oil pastels, and pencils to create bold, one-of-a-kind artworks with exciting textures and colours!We’ll also keep building our giant shiny sculpture by patchworking together everyone’s embossed metal tiles into one dazzling hanging artwork.
An art activity will be available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm throughout the holidays, with a new activity each week. Gallery exploration activity sheets are also available for the duration of the exhibition
*All of our drop-in workshops are free, but donations are welcome!
