WEEK 3: 11th AUGUST >> MAKE ART WITH...Wood

TUESDAY 12TH AUGUST
BEAVER CRAFT
11-1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
The National Trust will be joining us for a special workshop featuring a virtual reality experience all about beavers and their habitats. Experts will be on hand to answer your questions and share fascinating insights. You’ll also create your own beaver character using a simple clothes peg. Plus, we’ll continue building our collaborative wooden sculpture by painting recycled wood to form a bold, abstract installation.

WEDNESDAY 13TH AUGUST
GIANT CHARCOAL DRAWING

In this workshop, we’ll be drawing big! Using extended charcoal, you’ll have the chance to experiment with bold mark-making and explore the freedom of working on a large scale.  We’ll continue building our collaborative wooden sculpture by painting recycled wood to form a bold, abstract installation.

THURSDAY 14TH AUGUST
BALSA WOOD PRINT

Grab a pencil and get creative with balsa wood to design your very own unique wood print. We’ll continue building our collaborative wooden sculpture by painting recycled wood to form a bold, abstract installation.
