Each week, discover a new technique and explore art through playful, hands-on workshops. Free drop-in workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11am–1pm.
TUESDAY 18 AUGUST
JOY PAPER COLLAGE
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Use pre-painted papers to cut and arrange bold, abstract shapes. Mount your collage onto black paper to create a strong contrast and a vibrant, colourful composition.
WEDNESDAY 19 AUGUST
SELF PORTRAIT MAGAZINE LANDSCAPES
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Inspired by the exhibition, reimagine yourself in a different world using magazine images. Combine portrait and landscape to create a playful, imaginative scene. Bring a photo of yourself to include in your artwork.
THURSDAY 20 AUGUST
MIRRORED ZERO WASTE COLLAGE
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Challenge yourself to create a balanced collage using only black and white paper. Each shape you cut is mirrored and reused, encouraging a zero-waste approach while exploring symmetry and contrast.
Art activity available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm throughout the holidays. Gallery exploration activity sheets are also available for the duration of the exhibition.
