Each week, discover a new technique and explore art through playful, hands-on workshops. Free drop-in workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11am–1pm.

TUESDAY 25 AUGUST
PAPER STRIP SCULPTURES
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Experiment with texture by folding, curling and cutting colourful strips of paper. Combine and layer them to create a 3D hanging sculpture with movement and form.

WEDNESDAY 26 AUGUST
2D TO 3D SCULPTURES
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Start with a 2D artwork, then transform it into a 3D piece by cutting, folding and shaping. Explore how flat designs can become playful, abstract sculptures.

THURSDAY 27 AUGUST
PLAYDOUGH PLASTER CASTING
11–1pm, all ages, family workshop, Free*
Create a mould using playdough, then cast it in plaster to capture shape and detail. Add colour to finish your piece. Bring a small object if you’d like to use it in your cast.

Art activity available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm throughout the holidays. Gallery exploration activity sheets are also available for the duration of the exhibition.
