‍What is it

‍A powerful 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:

• Extreme weather;
• Food security;
• Health;
• Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

After the film there will be optional smaller group discussions about what this means for everyday life here in Watchet, along with information on the practical actions we can all take to support nature and create positive change close to home.

‍Screenings are happening everywhere, and are for everyone.

You may have heard about the film that was already shown at the Backyard Theatre, and want to see the film again.

You may just want to watch the film, or just the conversations afterwards.

‍Bring a friend, neighbour or family member: everyone is welcome.‍

‍Please note, this event is at Watchet Methodist Church Schoolroom.

‍Refreshments will be available from 6.30 pm, with the screening beginning at 6.45pm.‍
