Studio 11 Tenant

Studio 11 is a private, enclosed studio and is not public-facing. It is well suited to artists and creative professionals who require a self-contained workspace, such as photographers, marketers, and other creative practitioners.

While the studio itself offers privacy, tenants are expected to actively engage with the wider East Quay community. This includes attending monthly tenant meetings, participating in events, and contributing where possible to the shared running of the building. As East Quay is a public-facing venue, all tenants are expected to be welcoming and positive in their interactions within shared spaces and at community activities.

We welcome applications from artists and makers working across a wide range of disciplines and career stages, with the aim of fostering a dynamic, supportive, and well-balanced community. Priority will be given to applicants whose practice demonstrates a clear social or environmental focus. Applications from artists and creatives wishing to share the studio are also welcomed.

Equal Opportunities

We want our company to be representative of all sections of society and welcome applications from everyone. Equality and diversity considerations are not an ‘add on’ to the work that we do, rather enabling access and engagement to the broadest range of people from and beyond our community is the very reason for our existence. We are committed to achieving a truly inclusive environment for all, providing an atmosphere where everyone can take part, learn, work and engage free from prejudice, discrimination, harassment and violence. We also recognise that access to our spaces and practices is not always perfect, and we believe that being transparent about this is essential to being an inclusive organisation. Please note that Studio 11 is located on the second floor of our building and is not accessible via a lift. Once you have submitted your application, we kindly ask that you complete our Equal Opportunities form using the following link: https://uk.culturecounts.cc/s/5979rK
