MAKER RESIDENCY with Bec Briar

Local shepherd, spinner and weaver, Bec Briar, will be based in Studio 10 Project Space this Spring. During the residency, Bec will be working with wool that’s been hand sheared from her own sheep, using natural dyes and inks to hand spin and weave textiles that celebrate the local landscape.

Members of the local community will be invited to engage with the project through a series of workshops exploring different fibre craft techniques. More information coming soon.

Visitors are invited to go along, explore Bec’s work and find out more about her practice.
