Somerset Artist Residency 2025: Steve Burden

This year’s Somerset artist-in-residence is painter, Steve Burden, whose practice explores dystopian landscapes, class, and identity.  

Born in Greenwich, London, Steve now lives and works in Sedgemoor, Somerset. He is an ambassador for Outside In, a platform for artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance, or isolation.

Visitors are invited to go along and have a look at Steve’s work and find out more about his creative practice.
