'Bushybowered' is now open in the Print Studio, an exhibition by Maddie Rock and Sue Lowe.

These two printmakers are showing prints inspired by the woodlands of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills, capturing the experience of finding a pathway through the trees, celebrating the shapes and delicate textures of leaf and branch and reflecting on the continuous carbon cycle turning through the living wood and layers in the forest understory.  

Both artists work mainly in collagraph, a process of printing from textured plates constructed from a range of materials, which might include leaves, seeds, lichen and other plant matter. Plates and materials will be on display and Sue or Maddie will be on hand to talk about their working processes. 

Open Saturdays and Sundays throughout August: 1/2nd, 8/9th, 15/16th and 22/23rd.

10am - 5pm daily.
