Our largest pod, each wall is etched with drawings that describe the stories of Watchet’s past present and future, from the steam railway to the legend of the Gurt Wurm, West Somerset's notorious local dragon.
The pod features a central spiral staircase, a bespoke lighting fitting, and a stunning etched narrative of Watchet’s history across the walls of the double height space.
This pod can sleep 4 adults and 2 kids (we can add extra camp beds).
Pod 2 has an accessible arrangement on the lower floor to allow for visitors with mobility impairment and an accessible wet room, kitchen and eating area.
Downstairs is a kitchen complete with an integrated fridge, microwave, sink, and induction hobs. If you don’t feel like cooking then you can head downstairs to East Quay Kitchen for delicious meals. A dining table overlooks the courtyard and town. Tucked away in a cosy alcove is a comfortable double bed, with luxury organic bed linen and an organic wool duvet, and a luxury natural mattress. The playfully designed bathroom/wet room has a toilet, sink, and open shower, accented by brightly coloured handrails.
A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine level with another seating area, as well as another double bed, with luxury organic bed linen and an organic wool duvet, on top of a luxury natural mattress. A full-length window covers one wall and overlooks the boatyard and sea.
Camp beds are available for child guests and can be placed on either level.

Such an amazing place. Really inspiring what the Onion Collective have achieved here. Our pod was simply stunning, with stories on all the walls about the history of Watchet. Each bed is wonderfully located for a snug feel or for a view. Super clean, everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Just really really impressed.

We had a wonderful stay in Pod 2. The space is so cool, quirky, creative and full of character. We loved walking past all the art studios on the way to the apartment, and the views across the port are fantastic. My daughter absolutely adored the cosy bed nook and would happily have stayed there reading all day. A unique, inspiring place to stay with charm, views and thoughtful touches that make it extra special

Really lovely pod 2 we had a nice time relaxing and looking out at the pretty view. Perfect for our one night stay we appreciated the kitchen amenities and loved sitting on the top floor watching the sunset. Beds were very comfy, pod was super clean and the decor was funky - nice vibe. Lots of lovely galleries next to the pod and the town was nice with a few pubs and shops. Turkish food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again

Amazing pod architecture with incredible sight lines into the docks and over the sea. Set in the amazing East Quay development that's offering a genuinely community-focused model that's all about celebrating local creativity and craft. Met a load of really friendly, cool people along the way. Was sad we were only staying for one night!

We really enjoyed our stay in Pod 2, it was warm and cosy and the bed was so comfy, the quirky interiors were inspiring and made it a unique experience. Also loved the primary colour bathroom and our breakfast in the cafe below was amazing, and it's fantastic how it's connected to the East Quay gallery and artists studios. Naomi and all the staff were lovly and flexible as we arrived really late , easily one of the best places we've stayed at. We'd love to visit again soon.
