Our Playful Architecture pod is an interactive space, inviting playfulness with its adaptive building fabric and furniture. A large cargo net is installed over the living area below to play, relax, or snooze on. The ply walls are covered with a semaphore code, which guests are invited to crack and it has a rainbow bathroom.

The Playful Architecture pod is situated on the second floor of East Quay.

Inside the pod is a kitchen complete with an integrated fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, sink, and induction hobs. If you don’t feel like cooking then just head downstairs toEast Quay Kitchen for a delicious meal. A dining table overlooks a shared terrace space with views of the Harbour and sea.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink, and open shower.

A steep ship-style staircase leads to a mezzanine level which hosts a double bed, with luxury organic bed linen and an organic wool duvet, on top of a luxury natural mattress.  The more adventurous can even opt to sleep on the cargo net!

Please note that this pod may not be suitable for some guests due to the very steep stairs.

It is possible for us to add extra camp beds to this pod for small children, but if you are a family coming to stay, you might want to check out pod 2.
