Print Studio
at East Quay

Welcome to East Quay Print Studio, a place to make, learn and experiment. Formerly Albatross Print Studio, the management of the studio changed in April 2026 and is now being run in-house by Onion Collective.
The studio is equipped to support intaglio, relief and silkscreen printmaking, and offers a programme of open-access sessions, workshops and memberships. We welcome everyone from beginners to experienced printmakers, with an ambition for the studio to be a vibrant destination for discovering and exploring contemporary printmaking practice.
For all enquiries about the Print Studio, please email studio manager Lily at printstudio@eastquaywatchet.co.uk.
To use the facilities in the Print Studio you must be signed up as a Member. There are different tiers available dependent on what you need and on your experience. Please see the Membership details page for more information and to inquire about joining the studio. If you are already a member you can see the live calendar and book your sessions here.
The Print Studio at East Quay offers a dynamic programme of courses and workshops for printmakers of all levels — from complete beginners to those looking to build confidence or deepen their practice.
Led by experienced tutors and hosted in our professional printmaking facilities, these sessions focus on practical skills, creative experimentation and hands-on learning. Whether you’re exploring monotype, screenprinting, collagraph or other techniques, our workshops provide structured guidance, supportive instruction and the opportunity to develop new work in good company.
You do not need to be a member to attend Print Studio workshops or courses. However, members receive a 10% discount on all Print Studio-led courses.
Our courses are run by experienced tutors in a wide range of techniques. You can find out more about them and their experience here.
