The shop at East Quay seeks to reflect the wider ethos of the building and Onion Collective as a company. Its focus is in two areas - creativity and social good. This means we sell a range of gifts that fall within these fields - including art materials, magazines and books, and products by other social enterprises and ethical companies.
We have information cards in the shop that explain the products that are for sale and a bit about their origins and why they have been chosen so that we help to spread the ethos. We also have on sale a carefully chosen collection of ‘change the world’ books.

Rooms will usually be ready by 15.00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that on your day of departure you check out by 11:00am.
We understand that sometimes people will need to cancel their booking, but we also need to balance the impact on our social enterprise. If you wish to cancel your reservation we therefore ask you notify us 48 hours prior to arrival. After this time we reserve the right to take full payment. In the event of a non-arrival and no notification we reserve the right to recover the full cost of the booking.
If you book direct with us via our website, we will collect your payment details when you make the booking but we will take payment when you check-in. If you book with another accommodation engine, payment will be made according to their terms and conditions.
