Jayne and Chris believe that a piece of furniture that has been part of somebody’s family for years, or even generations, can be given a new lease of life when the need arises.
By carefully removing worn and damaged layers of fabric and fillings, looking at the frame and woodwork and making sure that failed elements are cleaned, repaired and restored, we know that we can return the piece to its former glory. By discussing the requirements with the owner of the furniture, choosing a fabric and trim that suits their home, preferences and style, we can draw up a scheme for the project that will involve using traditional materials and techniques that compliment the piece and ensure that it will last for many more years to come.
We can also carry out re-covering and reupholstery of more recent pieces that are in need of a facelift and produce bespoke footstools, ottomans, cushions, screens, etc.

Rooms will usually be ready by 15.00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that on your day of departure you check out by 11:00am.
We understand that sometimes people will need to cancel their booking, but we also need to balance the impact on our social enterprise. If you wish to cancel your reservation we therefore ask you notify us 48 hours prior to arrival. After this time we reserve the right to take full payment. In the event of a non-arrival and no notification we reserve the right to recover the full cost of the booking.
If you book direct with us via our website, we will collect your payment details when you make the booking but we will take payment when you check-in. If you book with another accommodation engine, payment will be made according to their terms and conditions.
