Studio 9 - PEARCE+
PEARCE+ is an experimental architecture and making studio led by founding director Owen Hughes Pearce. Working at the meeting-point of architecture, land art and collective craft, we design, teach, and build with a simple ethos:
- Architecture should grow from the earth, not sit upon it.
- Making is a journey of discovery, never an outsourced chore.
- Collaboration fuels joy and progress, not tick-box compliance.
- Design is a lifelong behaviour, not a static store of facts.
From a wildlife tower for Somerset Wildlife Trust and an Artic resturant, to a woodland shelter, roaming "memory loom" sculptures on Anglessy and rural homeless hub, our projects invite conversation, play and reflection. We create spaces that feel both grounding and hopeful- places to gather, to imagine, and to dream.
